Empower Group is a marketing and sales consulting agency that helps clients increase their sales and profitability.  Our mission is empowering clients to gain new business by improving their sales process and implementing digital branded marketing. The founder of Empower Group is sales, marketing, and media veteran, Mike McCready, who began his career in tech sales during the early PC industry as a top sales executive for companies like Businessland and ODC.  Rapidly achieving national and VP of sales positions, Mike was recruited extensively for his expertise, and he joined Meredith Venture Capital as a partner directing marketing and technology for Meredith's companies.

During this time, the technology of the VHS marketing video arrived, and Mike was an early adopter.  The resulting success he realized for clients through this tool led to the opportunity for creating TV advertising and the development of branded TV content. With cable television being the next new media shift during this time, Mike capitalized by creating one of the very first adrenaline sports television shows.

Called "High Adventure TV," this show was distributed by Fox/Lorber in over 130 countries, and the brand was eventually acquired in by a larger media company.  Initially funded by advertisers, Mike led the sales effort, while also creating original TV advertising that earned him Hatch Award recognition.
